A long Covid Sunday

Published

on

The air was swinging, the clouds were jogging, the sun made us tanned, moon was still shining bright though it had its dark circles, the earth was on its 24 hours rotational duty. Well, these are still ongoing unlike humans who were tired of lives, surrounded themselves with negativity, had a list of complaints in life, harming nature for own good, craving for the never ending satisfactory life. This changed until the pandemic arrived. It was just like a door shut very fast. People all around the world got introduced to Covid 19. The infection which took away lives one by one rapidly. Panic was in everyone’s nerves by then. All the countries started applying safety majors to stop the spread of infection. And till date the fight against it is on tracks. People are at homes and all the business gates are shut. But still the number of infection cases has not vanished and is believed to be vanished until the vaccine arrives. These months have been very much tough for all of us as this was never before experienced. From Educational system to Travel industry and Occupation everything has changed. A life we dreamt of sitting all day home with no work was in our doors and all seemed to like it in initial days and we being at our homes and not creating pollution we said The nature is healing itself! How surprising is that, we humans know that we create the pollution and not stop it until a pandemic arrives and shuts us in our houses and then unfortunately we say the nature is healing!

But as days passed the focus got shifted to people’s lives and their suffering it started making us uncomfortable to even breathe. The continuous news on news channel gives us goosebumps. In all these the real heroes came out just like the marvel team which were the doctors, nurses, police, and our government. They made us believe that we are in this together and we shall fight this till end. Lots of cases were filled and lots of were also getting recovered. That feeling of knowing that someone from our family or someone we know has resulted positive is quite worst. But it will get more worst if we don’t stand strong and have faith that everything is going to be fine. A good thing which is not mentioned to us daily is that more than half of the positive cases are being recovered daily. We though should protect ourselves from being corona positive but we should not forget for a moment to stay positive and have positive thoughts which help us fight whatever our body is going through. It’s like positive thoughts and our immunity system are best friends. For sure we being at our homes and our family has realised lots of things which could actually make us a better human being. Well in this pandemic we should spread faith and not rumours. These rumors can create lot of problems and so we need to understand difference between the facts and rumors.

Most people infected with COVID-19 will only have mild symptoms and fully recover. Yet, some people are more at risk.We all have a role to play in protecting ourselves and others.

People should NOT wear masks when exercising, as masks may reduce the ability to breathe comfortably.Sweat can make the mask become wet more quickly which makes it difficult to breathe and promotes the growth of microorganisms. The important preventive measure during exercise is to maintain physical distance of at least one meter from others.

Antibiotics work only against bacteria, not viruses.COVID-19 is caused by a virus, and therefore antibiotics should not be used for prevention or treatment. However, if you are hospitalized for COVID-19, you may receive antibiotics because bacterial co-infection is possible.

Garlic is a healthy food that may have some antimicrobial properties. However, there is no evidence from the current outbreak that eating garlic has protected people from the new coronavirus.

Being able to hold your breath for 10 seconds or more without coughing or feeling discomfort DOES NOT mean you are free from COVID-19.The best way to confirm if you have the virus producing COVID-19 disease is with a laboratory test.

Drinking alcohol does not protect you against COVID-19 and can be dangerous. The harmful use of alcohol increases your risk of health problems.

For most people, the immediate risk of becoming seriously ill from the virus that causes COVID-19 is thought to be low.

Someone who has completed quarantine or has been released from isolation does not pose a risk of infection to other people.

In India, total confirmed cases are 2.27 M are the recovery cases are 1.58 M which is quite good. We should understand the fact that if anything is at high pace then it’s recovery.

The day is not far when everything will be back and improved and beautiful. The children will run on streets, the vehicles will dance on the roads and we all will have the ability of understanding that how precious we are for having this life however it is. Stay home stay safe and let’s save ourselves and others by just sitting at our homes in front of T.V and spending time with families.

Salute to the warriors who fought and are fighting against Covid 19.Condolences to the families and friends who lost their close ones in this pandemic.

BOYCOTT OR SWADESHI : Then & Now

Published

on

Nowadays at various platforms boycott China is trending in India.

From where it came from ?

FUEL for this trend is nationalism SPARK is INDIA-CHINA border issue at LAC (Line of actual control) and FIRE is trends of boycott #hashtag EXHAUST.

Is History repeating itself ?

In British era while freedom struggle was at its peak, same scenario took place .FUEL is obvious feeling of nationalism, SPARK is 1905 Partion Of Bengal FIRE is urest in indian masses; INC Leaders, freedom fighters called for BOYCOTT British products, schools, colleges, offices. Then Lt. Dadabhai Nauroji wrote “Drain Of Wealth” this created economic awareness in people.
The main point of our concern in this event is the idea of SWADESI given by Lt. B.G. Tilak. He said for 4point program i.e. #swaraj, swadeshi, boycott, national education.then after many indegenious schools, colleges, factories were opened by Indians. For success of boycott movement swadeshi is a must have tool.

What Economy says ?

In todays globalisation no government usually says that boycott products of specific country because of binding regulations of various global intergovernmental organisation like WTO,IMF ,WB Etc.
Charge on these chinese product by dumping duties, extra tariff, taxes these place limitations over boycott for th government.
Trade deficit is 7 times more at the Indian side.
Majority of our workforce belongs to unorganised or informal sector and low income group.

• EXHAUST or WAY FORWARD ….

These section of our population only afford and prefer cheap products irrespective of in which country those are made.Middle class population has there economic limitaions over nationalistic sacrifices at shop counters.

Instead of boycotting we should focus on manufacturing the products in India. Make indian products competatitve in market that will lower trade deficit and our manufacrturing grown up provided with skilled employement. Resume hashtags #makeinindia #makeinindia.
