“Meraa Lifee Kharaab Hogaya”this dialogue has become part of our routine now a days but you made us believe that whatever happens, happens for a reason. You definitely brought courage in us to understand that every woman has right to make her own rules for life. The way you went on learning how to deal with problems we got many lessons and being independent is the new norm is what struck our minds. Rejection is totally fine, what you made us establish. It takes lot of guts to rome around in abroad cities with unknown people, enjoying, understanding there’s so much to live for then to cry on. Your innocence taught us real humanity. You taught us to stand within our culture but to explore as much as one can. The way you forgot everything and just grooved on music and gave that thumka, makes us more enthusiastic and surely made us understand that one should never feel they are undeserved for someone. Its just about choosing the right person who loves you for what you are and not what your status is. Thankyou for teaching us be your own girlfriend!
“Mere boyfriend se gulu gulu karegi toh dhoptungi na usko”! Is surely a weapon for girls out ..humko nahi pasand..jo mera hai wo mera hai(My boyfriend is my boyfriend none of your boyfriend). You wanted to live your life freely. Being unorthodox was not on your list which we guess every girl wants right now. Your strong bold multi dimensional character gave us goosebumps. You flout rules with much valour and wit, for your career and partner. There is no bringing you down, you always know what you want. Even in distress, you are no damsel, but a destroyer and in times good or bad, you was backbone for your partner. Ambitious and never giving up attitude made a change in us too. You taught us where anger issues can lead us. And surely showed in real what a woman feels in her mind when someone has eyes on our partner.
Your dedication towards career is beyond appreciation. A girl has many roles to play in her life a daughter, sister, wife, mother but no one cares about her role being a successful woman in life. You surely changed that, though you knew you might hurt people by your decision, you did what was right. As marriage is part of life, career is also at same bar important in our life and one should never compromise on that is what you taught us. But that does not make you selfish as you never let anyone else enter your boundaries of heart and when the time came you apologized and tried your best to fix up the thing between you and your partner is what loyalty is about. Never let your life long happiness get steal for some happy moments. Having a family is great but we as individual should also be happy within our hearts, prioritize our life goals with other aspects of life. Thankyou for showing us the real hero in you.
Dear Neha, (Desi girl)
You have just mesmerized us with your beauty. No one can take eyes off you when you flaunt the curves and desi girl in you. Living your life to fullest and away from the society barriers you live with two young boys sharing your apartment is pretty confident. The walls of boys and girls being reserved and not hanging out together has totally changed because you and other appearances. You being modern never let your roots go and had a desi girl in you which makes ur more related to you. Every girl surely wants to be both. You are in our hearts like forever! Thankyou for showing us how beautiful a happy, independent , confident woman looks like.
Commitment is defined by you. Every girl needs to understand how deep can commitment and promises for love go and lead our life there where we never ever imagined of. You did not care what people would say and surrendered yourself to love. Patience for love is least , in today’s generation. You being at such difficult stage, had patience that someday everything’s going to be right and had faith in your partner for that. In today’s society girl going against her family, relatives for love is like girl shaming the society with so called “Log kya kahenge” you my dear didn’t care at all and just walked towards your partner and placed your hand in his hand. You set the bar for loyalty and commitment very very high. A relationship works only if the fire in two people for love is same. You definitely made us realise that sacrifices for love can lead to happiness though its long way it somewhere stops and there’s a happy ending.
Stay tuned for upcoming letters for our favourite male characters!

Iconic father-son/daughter reel life duo
There is a great saying that a person truly knows his father when he becomes one’. A father is someone who leaves no stone unturned to secure a better life for his child. We all know that a few paragraphs are too petite to express the greatness of a father yet I decided to jot down some Iconic father-son/daughter reel-life duo.
After musing on for a while, ‘An iconic reel life duo of father and son/daughter’ sounded nice to write about. So let’s plunge into it as there are innumerable duos to look up to however we had better stick to a couple of them. With assuming your unanimity let’s talk about ‘Phogat family’ from ‘Dangal’ movie and ‘Grimes’ from ‘The walking dead’.
Phogat family from ‘Dangal’:
First comes first the Phogat family, Mahavir Singh Phogat (played by Aamir Khan) a former wrestler and a national champion decides to fulfill his long due dream of winning a gold medal for India through his daughters. In doing so he faces animosity from villagers and family members but doesn’t crumble and stays the course. Even he’s to persuade his wife to force their daughters into wrestling. Geeta and Babita Phogat his two daughters (played by Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra respectively) were initially loath to wrestle.
However Mahavir coerce them with his gruelling techniques and methods especially morning exercise and cutting their hair short and for once it seems that he’s ruining their childhood. Both the daughters develope resentment for their father but with passing days they realise that he’s doing nothing but securing a glorious future for them. They find vigor and enthusiasm for wrestling and go onto winning many local tournaments throughout the state. Which motivates their father and he starts to look at his dream as Geeta Phogat wins all national championships. Consequently she moves to national academy for further training in order to play at international level where she learns ‘Anti-Mahavir’ techniques and derails from her father’s path.
Thereby she loses a few international matches and puts herself into despair. Even relation between her and father becomes acrimonious. Onwards Babita also wins national championship and paves her way to the national academy where she ties up with sister. During their stay there they talk about Geeta’s problems and Babita mediates between her father and sister to put their relation on track. As Commonwealth games are imminent Gita finds troubles at academy with the head coach who tries to put her off. Then Mahavir Singh comes to rescue and traines her to the best.
With all the efforts and motivation from family she wins a gold medal at her maiden Commonwealth games and fulfills her father’s dream. Babita, mahavir’s another daughter also wins a silver in the same tournament. Both daughters then go onto winning a series of medals in coming years. Finally Mahavir Singh gets his dream fulfilled, finally all his labour and patience pay off. This story tells us that whatever may it look to you a father always works for the best of his child. He may seem cruel, dominating, officious but he always looks after our betterment.
Grimes from ‘The walking dead’:
Now we talk about ‘Rick Grimes’ and ‘Carl Grimes’ (played by Andrew Lincoln and Chandler Riggs) an iconic father son duo from ‘The Walking Dead’. Probably the bravest father and son duo in reel life. It’s a story of survival where the moment you stop being brave you die. It’s a story of the world being pushed to its end where only strong can live. So Rick Grimes a former Sheriff’s deputy teaches his son an art of fighting and surviving at very early age and forges him into one of the deadliest adolescents you’ll come across ever. When the calamity brokes out in the world and people turn into walking deads Rick finds himself in a hospital alone, unaware of the situation and left to die.
Somehow he recovers and starts looking for his family. With the help of some likewise survivors he finally meets them. From onwards they stay together to the end and tackles every catastrophe with valour. Talking of the relationship between father and son they have a strong mutual understanding and they are always ready to fight, and save each other at any cost. However sometimes they find themselves on opposite ends but end up getting at the same.
Though fictional and unlikely to happen anyhow, it still teaches us how a father and a son are ought to look after and strengthen each other. And always stay together no matter what happens.
So these two are iconic father-son/daughter reel-life duo which inspire us and show us a way to ameliorate, and maintain our relations.
