on

Prasad Vidhate well known on the social media as @saint_in_baggy. He is an Actor, You tuber, Vlogger, Social Media Influencer, Engineer and much more. It’s rightly said engineers can do anything. Prasad had a very ordinary childhood like many of us. And now we are enjoying his extra ordinary 20’s life and creativity. Mostly he creates content on instagram and you tube, -the spoofs and parodies. I am sure while surfing over reels you may have seen him and enjoyed the content.

Prasad Vidhate shares his elite story with Paradox India and we would love to share with you all.

1.Was acting your forever passion ya waqt ki koi gheri saazish?

Prasad Vidhate:

“When I was in school I was interested in performing in annual functions, drama competition and dance competition but did not got enough opportunities and support by my teachers. Soon completed my 10th and I enrolled for an acting workshop of almost 15 days and luckily – got a chance to work with one of the finest actor and director from Marathi industry. But due to lack of experience on stage I struggled for almost 3 years to get on stage. I  had to let it go because of my 12th boards. When I reached in the 2nd year of my graduation in civil engineering I performed in an art circle activity and in the same year I directed 2 plays from my college for WJIVH we received 4 individual prizes and then the journey began. Till my final year I have been the part of several plays including one act, long length and 2 act plays and had enough experience to apply for NSD (2 times), rejected every time …Bahahaha. But I continued the theatre in Pune and simultaneously got a chance to perform in a sketch for YouTube channel – a small role of almost 20 sec. I worked with almost 4 to 5 YouTube channels but the growth was slow but still continued, finally in 2019 I got a chance to be the lead in one of the play named ‘ The Father of 669 ‘ which ranked 2nd in the intercollege competition all over Pune. The best part was I got a prize named – CHATURASRA (multitalented actor). I was felicitated  by the well-known actor, writer and director Mahesh Manjrekar, which boosted my confidence even more.

At the end of 2019 I went to a trip to Lehi Ladakh for cycling and almost uploaded 8 vlogs on my channel followed by some sketches in the lockdown, I uploaded 2 web series named

 – Mai Bhi Youtuber and Usual Ka Alag Visual on my YouTube channel (Saint In Baggy).

Finally in the month of Jan 2021 one of my reel took off on Instagram and the world changed, the moment for which I waited for 2 years arrived within a blink.

And yes Acting is my passion and also waqt ki ek gheri saazish.”

2.Which was the first role you played in theatre or on stage, which holds something special?

Prasad:

“The first noticeable role I did in a play was in 2019 named ‘The father of 669’ the play is close to my heart and if I get a chance to time travel then I would surely go back to the process of this play.”

3.What was the idea or story behind the username Saint in Baggy as it seems to be very deep and unique?

Prasad:

“The name denotes the personality I want to be. Saint word itself defines that a person has given away all the materialistic elements, is calm and holding onto peace while Prasad is completely opposite, a person always thinking of content , busy working on the toes and love being busy. I also love wearing loose clothes which provide me a comfort in all the hectic schedule and work . So the name is the combination of these 2 aspects and I came up with it, so as to constantly remind myself that keep working and one say you will be a saint in baggy clothes.

So that’s the simple logic behind the name ‘Saint in baggy’.

4.The way you present yourself is quite unique, is there any influence from epic stories casted on TV during Lockdown?

Prasad:

“Talking truly, not a series from lockdown but I love the content made by TVF and I follow the channel since the ‘TVF pitchers’ and I always wanted to create something like, Tripling , Kota factory and sketches as well . But in the process I follow is the content should be strong on paper and elevated while performing and post production, the content should be relatable and easy to understand.”

5. From where do you get your inspiration or ideas for your content?

Prasad:

“My inspiration is the love given by the viewers. Most of my videos are experimental and if the audience get attached/hooked to the video the analytics and comments speak out loud and yeah that’s my inspiration. This gets me on the toes to come up with something more interesting on the table.”

6.How does it feel to be more Saint In Baggy than Prasad Vidhate?

Prasad:

“Being saint in baggy feels more responsible, always need to be up to the mark , always be on the toes, value for what you have achieved. I want them to be different and I try to do so because Prasad Vidhate is all about the journey and I wanted to live the journey and not the achievement.”

7. You have a YouTube channel as well . What’s your favourite thing to do vlogging or content creating ?

“That’s tricky question, well I am in a phase were I believe in being consistent on the platform .So whatever comes in the frame first I will do that. Even if it’s a sketch, short film, vlog, voice over  video anything. But personally if you ask me to choose 1 then I will go for content creating.”

8. So you have done theatres. Can You tell a little more of your background?

Prasad:

“Well if you ask me what do I love more ? The theatre or content creation ? I would say theatre cas because I love the pressure you have on stage and there are no retakes, it takes a lot of effort , group coordination and rehearsals. I enjoy the process that takes to build a play and I have a lot of respect for this because it took almost 3 years for me to reach onstage to perform as a character and I believe god made me learn all the elements that happens at the back of the stage so as to be respectful to the art that takes place on the stage. Lot of memories are associated with theatre as it has been almost 8 to 9 years that I am associated with theatre taking some gaps due to academics though”.

9. You have done a short film 2 months back Motichoor ke Ladoo. Can you tell more about it, how did u get the story, inspiration and all ?

Prasad:

“This has always happened to me that whenever I wanted or wished for something, god has always made me work hard for it and has given me several opportunities to do it, rather pushed me on the road which he decided is good for me and I guess this is all about life. On the similar thought I wanted to do something and while jamming with my mates we came across some stories, initially it was a series of 4 short films but then we made 2 . One is Motichoor ke Ladoo and the second is yet to be released as it in the post production. The short film (motichoor ke laddoo) is all about – god helping you in the journey of your life, ‘wo agar problem solve nahi karegenge par usko jhelneki takad jaroor denge’.

We shot the short film with a crew of 7 excited and dedicated  individual with almost – 1 not up to the mark camera, broken and jammed lens, zero makeup. It took us 3 days to shoot the short film and we enjoyed the process and I know god was with us the whole time.”

10. What will be your message to the youth who wants to make a career in acting or content creating ?

Interview

Amit Diwan who made us think over and over again!

Published

on

Amit Diwan who is the founder of Youtube Channel AMIT THINKS and STUDYOPEDIA shared with us insane number of views and response he gets from his followers and We were shocked! We also were very curious to know how he grew it, what was his motivation and lots of other things related to his journey.

Now you are also curious to know everything about him, and his journey and we know that! Here is the Exclusive Interview with Amit Diwan!

1) Sir, my very first question from you will be to tell us about your journey till here, as you started your journey from a young age and reached a great height till here. Tell us something about it. When and how did you start your career ?

I did MCA in Delhi. In the final year, at the age of 22, I was more focused on getting freelancing work, than getting a job. Finally, I got my first freelancing gig, where I worked on a Python programming project.
After completing my MCA, I got placed at Accenture. The joining was postponed by three months. Meanwhile, while working on my freelancing projects and waiting to join Accenture, I landed a job at IIT, Delhi. I decided to quit accepting an offer from Accenture as a Software Engineer to focus on the job and freelancing gigs, with the aim of starting my own IT company one day.

2) When did you first discover your entrepreneurial spirit and How is your
entrepreneurial career developing so far?

Even before starting the company, I was able to make a name for myself as a freelancer, with top e-learning websites as clients. At the age of 23, my freelancing clients included India’s and Australia’s top E-Learning websites, Tutorialspoint and Sitepoint, respectively.
I have till now worked on, created, and published Text and Video Tutorials in 30+ technologies, including programming languages, databases, CMS, etc. Till now, I have written/published more than 70k articles, posts, codes, blogs, and videos on e-learning for students, engineers, and professionals. These posts/blogs/videos have received millions of views.
After getting experience from all these reputed government offices and private companies through full-time jobs and freelancing, including, IIT Delhi, IASRI, University of Delhi, and C# Corner, I decided to begin my own work as an entrepreneur. I launched my own startup, studyopedia.com and the Amit Thinks YouTube Channel. Programming and web development courses are provided on my channel and website.

My entrepreneurial career is going well, with the website Studyopedia and a Tech YouTube Channel Amit Thinks reaching greater heights.
The videos have gotten more than 23 million (2.3 crore) views on YouTube (as of November 2022). The monthly views have crossed 1.5 million. More than 866k Unique Viewers visit the YouTube Channel every month. The total number of impressions is 118 million. The Watch Time have reached 804k hours i.e. around 5 crore minutes. We have also surpassed the official YouTube Channel of GeeksforGeeks in terms of monthly views.

We are now providing a Certificate of Completion for any course completed on our website. Students need to pay a minimal amount to get a certificate. This brings us to a paid model.

3) What inspired you to develop your idea?

The Global E-Learning Market will reach $457.8 billion by 2026. This proves that the EdTech revolution is not a temporary adjustment but a permanent solution. I thought that this revolution would also see educational YouTube channels and websites joining the EdTech ecosystem. Also, every person has some knowledge that he or she can share. Sharing is caring, and this one quote helped me a lot in providing free notes and videos for students, engineers, and professionals.

4) How did you come up with the idea for an E-learning website called
studyopedia.com and YouTube Channel Amit Thinks, how did it all start?

I wanted to include both text tutorials and video courses for the same programming languages and web development technologies. Therefore, I decided to add the notes, i.e., the text tutorials, on the website Studyopedia and the videos for free on my Tech YouTube Channel Amit Thinks.

5) Knowing what you know now, is there anything you would have done differently when you were first starting out?

I should have started the Entrepreneur journey before.

6) There are many skills or practices that are important for entrepreneurial success.
What are the qualities of a good entrepreneur?

I consider perseverance and patience to be the two key skills needed to achieve success in any field. The ability to take quick decisions and people management also contribute to success.

7) How do you define success?

Success is to never give up in life, whatever happens.

8) What have been the biggest success and biggest failure stories you went through?

I would rather consider telling my own success and failure stories, beginning with the latter for obvious reasons.
Failure:
I developed an Android app, Learnofy, for kids facing difficulty learning, but the app was discontinued the same year itself.

Success:
We have received a lot of views, watch time, and engagements from a global audience in the last 2 years. Not even college students, but experienced IT Professionals trust us and request video tutorials on our platform. The support of our unique viewers, which are over 800k each month, has helped in achieving this milestone in such a short period of time.

9) In your opinion, what are the hurdles that keep people away from starting an entrepreneurial career?

Funds and manpower management. If you know how to crack people management, you can begin the entrepreneurial journey with less funds.

10) What have you enjoyed most about starting your own company?

To take decisions on my own. A lot of times, the hurdle related to funds and competition came in between, but I never gave up.

11) Lastly, What advice would you give to someone who is trying to become an
entrepreneur?

Never give up! Have patience! Keep Learning!

Sanyam Sharma : The OG Sharmaji ka Bada Beta

Published

on

Content producers have been essential to the evolution of Indian humour ever since the creative age began. There are selective few creators out there that have mastered the alchemy of this community and produce unadulterated material. Few makers are mastering the charm of this community and providing the audience with the most unadulterated stuff. One of them is Sanyam Sharma, better known by his famous name “Sharma Ji ka Badda Beta,” who transforms the essence of real-life events into comedic moments. His outrageous and grandiose comedy content has consistently left audience in splits due to the high number of engagements. Watching his outrageous and spectacular comedy content has been a blast. He has come a long way in compelling comedy. Let us hear from the man himself.

When did you start generating content as a career?

Sanyam Sharma: In March 2020, I first started producing content. Sadly, the first video I made, which was about the Zomato guy, didn’t turn out as I imagined. I then began producing content in lockdown for three months, but I failed to reach the target engagement levels. Later, I created a haphazard video with the title “Crush Kaise pataye? ” and it gained a lot of followers nd ended up going viral! This gave my career something of a speed boost. That’s how I got my career boost.

What was your breakthrough moment when you realized you had a content creation aspect to your life?

Sanyam Sharma: When my reels went viral in June 2022, I had no idea what was happening and I had no idea if it would bring in money or not. I was unaware about what brand deals were, let alone anything else pertaining to content development. Unexpectedly, Hypp Agency called me one day and said they wanted to manage my account when I was still unaware of these things. Later, brand agreements began, and I gained popularity among both artists and viewers. I was clueless about what was happening as time went on I got the hold of everything.

3) What is the story behind the name ‘Sharmajikabaddabeta’?

Sanyam Sharma: My father’s friend used to refer to me as “Sharmajikabaddabeta.” I am the actual bada beta of Sharma Ji, so this is a story and the inspiration behind “Sharmajikabaddabeta.” Many people would ask my father, “What does your bada beta do?,” but the truth was that “bada beta” was doing nothing noteworthy until now, when we can describe it in a humorous filmy way, “Sharmaji ka bada beta brand ban Gaya hai.”

4) How did those in your immediate vicinity respond when you first started creating content?

Sanyam Sharma: It is considered that you are doing nothing if you are a content creator. Eventually, everyone around you will begin to think that way, but only the creator is aware of their specific actions. Initially, there were no responses from individuals around me, but now they watch my videos and recommend them to others they think can relate!

5) What other passion do you have outside creating content that you would love to pursue?

Sanyam Sharma: Writing poems and short stories is my passion. I worked in theatre for five years as an actor before switching to content creation. I enjoy actively organising seminars in my leisure time, along with reading some Hindi literature.

6) What difficulties did you encounter on your journey?

Sanyam Sharma: If this statement is accurate, there were no substantial problems that come to mind; rather, I had the most difficulty figuring out how to beat the algorithm!

7) We’ve discovered that you enjoy travelling as well. What destinations are the most intriguing that you could visit at any time?

Sanyam Sharma: Yes, I did started travelling a lot last year. I find content through acting as an observer. CONTENT IS STILL KING AT THE END OF THE DAY!
I would love to visit Kashmir again in the winter to witness the snowfall and breathtaking views of the valleys, lovely lakes, and natural scenery that inspires us to fall in love with the outdoors because, in my opinion, it is the most beautiful destination.

8) What characteristics do you possess that make your dad his favourite child?

Sanyam Sharma: They don’t believe I’m all that favourite according to him. If you grow up in a middle class home, everyone will finds you charm of the eye if you do well in school. I’m incredibly committed and determined, it’s the only thing that comes to mind.

9)Along with comedy, we have learned that you are also a poet. What inspired you to start writing your thoughts?

Every time I did theatre, we had to read literature, and at the end of the day, that’s the way we evolve as an artist.
By 2019, after finishing college, at noon, I used to write poems. Vinod Kumar Shukla, Nirmal Verma, Premchand I was fond of all of them. I read them and through these different windows of thought I got the perspectives to write and since then I started penning down my thoughts in the form of poetry.

10) How did you come up with “Single Launda Samiti” and why?

Sanyam Sharma: The first episode of “Single Launda Samiti” aired in 2019. The desire for singles to express themselves through brand new content was the idea. I just made a couple reels about it with that in mind, and people started to connect with it and like it. That is how it began!

11) What final message would you like to convey to your supporters and well-wishers?

Sanyam Sharma: If you want to create content, all you need to do is be conscious of your surroundings, keep an eye on everything, and watch. You need also be coherent, take care of yourself, and be appreciative. “BE GOOD AND GOOD WILL COME.
