Not just on 2 oct, Gandhism is forever.

Published

Mohandas karamchand Gandhi, the father of the nation, had been one one of the most revolutionary men in the history of India. In his memory, on his auspicious day of his birth, we celebrate it as Gandhi Jayanti. Gandhiji inspired all of us towards freedom and secularism. His words have a huge landmark and they affected us in a great way.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of teaching. “
Gandhiji was a man of his words. He not only advised people to practice non- violence and truth, but he Himself did practice in his entire life. His motive behind saying this is that by buffing heroic speeches and commanding, no man can gain respect in his life by others. Rather, he ought to execute those binding principles to make a real difference in yourself and others.

“An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind”

Once when gandhiji was arrested by the British officers. He sat in the middle of two English officers and just then, one of them said to Bapu ‘Donkey’ and the other said ‘arse’ as if directing towards him. Just then, Bapu said, “I am neither a donkey nor an arse, but I am actually sitting between both the two. ” This is how Bapu calmly shut their mouths without raising a hand. He always said, if a person slaps you on your left cheek, offer him the right one too. Revenge never works out well if you want go be equal.

I object to violence because when it appears to be good, the good is only temporary. The evil it does is permanent.
The father of the nation always was the biggest supporter of peace. He knew that one can never achieve anything through harmful purposes. Once in Chauri Chaura during Non- cooperation movement on 4th Feb, 1922,the demonstrators set a police station on fire due to public outrage. It led to the death of 3 civilians and 22 policemen. Gandhi Bapu halted the movement immediately to stop further hazards. This shows how motivated he was towards his oath

Its easy to stand in a crowd. It takes courage to stand alone. When we have someone besides us, we always have the confidence in ourselves to achieve something. On the contrary, when we are all alone on our own, it makes us feel insecure of our decision power as we ourselves would be only responsible for our mistakes. Gandhiji taught us not to fear. If you are truly right against a 100 who are wrong, do not be afraid. Stand up for yourself. Clearly, when he was in Africa, he fought against racism alone and established a movement there.

I will not let anyone walk through my mind with their dirty feet.
A mind is only pure when it’s not filled with the stench of scepticism and uncertainty. He always had a dynamic control over his rash actions. Someone else’s negative energy and words should never demean your self esteem which hinders your ability. Gandhiji was an epitome of self control.

Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed By the things you didn’t do than the things you did.
Regret is always painful after you let the best opportunities slip out of your hand due to the fear of not being victorious. Gandhiji taught us that it is completely normal to fail in life. That is what makes you human. So don’t waste any chance to do what you love or you will always feel contrite when you wish you could have experienced them.

Strength does not come from  phphysical capacity. It comes from indomitable will.
The step one of success is go wish to gain it. The beliefs to do something helps you make history lasting a long time. The main attribute to win the world. Gandhiji was not a strong person. But yes, his capability to change the world came from his strong determination. That is what made him a better person.

Gandhiji had inspired a lot of Indians and people all over the globe to be a better person by his motivational thoughts. He made a huge impact kn everyone’s life in a huge way. On his birth anniversary, his big deeds and reminisced and he is remembered. He changed the world for good. For a better tomorrow. In a gentle way, he truly shook the  world.

Crude oil price in India

Published

on

Today, the world is suffering from many unexpected problems. These problems includes corona virus pandemic, poverty, voilence in many subjects and rise in prices in almost every item.
These problems got a boost after this corona virus pandemic. Providing essential items to everyone according to their needs have been one of the major problem. Almost every country is having such issues, that too due to the unexpected Covid-19 pandemic.

Presently, Farmer protests, violence, rise in prices, Covid19 vaccination for all on time, rape issues and political games are the topics which are trending in India.
In India too the prices are touching its brim. The rise in costs in food, commodities, jewellery, fuel, automobiles etc have become a greater problem. To provide everything for everyone with less issues is a need.
The petrol and diesel prices have been increasing day by day. Retail price of automobile fuels have reached heights across the country. Petrol and diesel are taxed heavily in India and that’s why the consumer benefits have been decreased.
Low class families are getting benifits by the government, high class families already have enough salaries to spend freely and according to their needs.
For middle class families, the problems are like hell. No benifits, almost nothing for the middle class. Only low class are under the eyes of government but middle class are just ignored every time. Middle class are also like the low class but just a bit heigher than low class and so less than the upper class. This class is in the middle so no-one remember to provide special highlights to them. Pressure over the middle class to do everything on their own without any benifits or schemes from anyone, under huge loss.
Diesel and petrol prices have hit high records across the country with petrol touching Rs 89 per litre in Delhi and diesel reaching a new high of Rs 86.30 per litre in Mumbai. Petrol prices are revised by the oil marketing companies like Indian Oil, Bharat Petroleum, Hindustan Petroleum etc. based on the international prices. So, when international crude oil prices gain, petrol prices in India increases and so on. If crude oil prices in the international markets drops, we see a down fall in daily petrol prices in India.

Factors affecting Today’s Petrol Prices In India
The difference in the prices of crude oil in the international market directly influences the price of crude oil (raw form of oil) in the domestic market and this is one of the most important factor responsible for an increase in the petrol prices in Indian market. Increase in international demand as well as low production rate and any political no rest in the crude oil producing countries of the world severely affects petrol price.

Increase in Demand – Economic growth in India and other developing countries has also led to the increase in demand for the petrol and other essential fuels in India. The number of people who own private vehicles has gone up in the recent past which has contributed to the increase in demand for petrol in India this has resulted in the rise in petrol prices in India.

Logistics – Logistics is one of the significant factors in pricing retail fuel. Petrol and diesel transported to longer distances to cities or regions farther from depots will be priced higher than the places nearer to the oil companies storage area. The reason behind the change in the prices of petrol in different cities across India. This difference may be huge between cities that are far from each other. The fear linked to the rise of petrol prices in India might be never ending.

Mismatch of Demand and Provided quantity – Oil refinery companies in India faces problem to meet the demands of the market due to the high cost of input price of crude oil thus resulting in low supply and high demand for petrol in the country. An increase in supply results in a decrease in the price of the petrol and vice versa. Oil refining and marketing companies maintains crude oil inventory up to six weeks, which also influences the price of the petrol and petroleum products.

Rate of Taxes – The prices of petrol and other petroleum products varies according to the local government policies which impose taxes on fuels. As and when the government of India raises tax rates on fuels then oil companies in India also increase the price of the petrol to recover the loss and maintain marginal profits in the oil business in India.

Rupee – Dollar Exchange Rates – The rupee-dollar exchange rate is also one of the major factors which influences the price of petrol in India. Indian oil companies pay to the oil imported from other countries in terms of dollars, but their costs are regarding rupee. So, when the price of the crude oil is in the fall but the rupee is also weaker against the dollar then it will reduce the profits to the oil refiners. So, when the rupee strengthens against the dollar and the price of the crude oil faces down fall, then most of the oil companies tend to gain alot.

Apart from this, the continued commitment of the producers to supply, amidst muted fuel demand has helped the fuel prices to scale up. The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its member partner have their support for deeper oil supply cuts throughout 2021. The move was made to help bring down the swollen global crude stockpiles are increasing despite feeble oil demand.
Meanwhile, the demand in china for crude oil is helping to support the oil markets as shown by the industrial track.

The Biggest Revolution

Published

on

When we talk about the biggest revolution, most people think about the different revolution coded by their colour as for example, the green revolution, the white revolution, the pink revolution, etc. Some also might think about the Russian revolution or the Iranian revolution. But according to us, these revolutions are nothing as compared to the modern day Digital revolution. It has completely changed the way we live our life, and as for me Digital revolution could be considered as the biggest revolution in the history of human civilisation.

INTRODUCTION OF COMPUTER

Rajiv Gandhi, also known as the ‘Father of Information Technology and Telecom Revolution of India’ was the man who introduced computer in India. His introduction was followed by a series of riots, as people thought that bringing computer to the country will make everything automated, and thus will cause loss of jobs. Well, now it surely proves that he had a great vision for the country and that he knew that the computer was the only way to help in the development of the country.

AUTOMATION OF MACHINES

Factories all over India, now mostly have computers operating them with minimum staffs operating the machines, which made people believe that computer education is a must as it increased jobs opportunity, reduced the cost of machine repairing, and also thus helping in the development of the country. It has also helped in less error occurrences that might occur when in the hands of the human beings. Reduced labour charge because of reduced use of human hands has also caused in the reduced cost of production of products, thus reducing the selling price of products and even helping the company in targetting customers with lower income potentials.

DEVELOPMENT IN HEALTH SERVICES

An important field computers impacted on is the medical field. The computers helped the hospitals out very much. In pharmacies, the pharmacists use computers to keep a record of what medication to give to a patient and the amount they need. Most computers in the hospital are used to keep data of patience and their status. Computers also keep track of equipment placement and status as well. Scientists need the help of computers to find cures for diseases that need cures like cancer and STDs. Without the computers help, cures for a lot of diseases wouldn’t have been found. Computer helped the medical area a lot and we are grateful for that since they keep track of our health.

CONNECTING WITH FRIENDS AND RELATIVES

The telecom revolution also added up to the development of the country by helping people to connect with their friends and relatives over thousands of kilometres. Applications like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp, has helped people to stay connected with their loved ones. Video calling used widely after the development of the 4G connection in India has made people in believing that distance has nothing to do with bonding. Upcoming 5G connection in India will provide even faster internet connection over time, video calling in the upcoming future telecommunication upgrade can make the people to be seen life like whilst in a video call.

HELP IN THE CORONA PANDEMIC

The corona pandemic has surely destroyed the daily routine of people, but even after that, the digital revolution made sure that our daily is not left behind whilst fighting the pandemic. Offline classes were changed to online with teacher teaching their students with the help of a presented screen. Private companies made their employees to work from home. People attended conferences with other people staying thousands of kilometres away whilst enjoying their morning coffee. Frustrating Monday mornings were not frustrating anymore, as people need not get up early in the morning, do the daily chores and rush for the metro, instead they could just wake up and instantly start attending the meeting.

5G CONNECTION NEWS

CEO of Jio, Mukesh Ambani has till now confirmed that “5G connection would be available to use by the mid 2021”, not before that. But, even then it will not be available for everyone to be used by people door to door. It could be available for use for everyone in India from door to door, only after 2022 January. So, buying 5g phone will not be recommendable if you are not living in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, or Chennai. Airtel recently tested it’s 5g network in Hyderabad using the 1.8GHz band. Airtel CEO, Gopal Vittal believes that a true 5G experience is possible only after the government allocates mid-band spectrum (2.2-3.7 GHz) for the new networks, which hasn’t happened yet. Once, the necessary spectrum is available, Airtel believes it’s networks can deliver 10 times higher speeds while reducing latency 10 times.

In simple words, Digital revolution has played a major role in the development of the country throughout. It has not only introduced major job opportunities, but has also reduced the workload from the workers and has also helped people to stay connected from a thousand kilometres. Leaving these, there might be a thousand which we might have forget to mention.

Arnab Goswami: Modern day Ram or Ravan?

Published

on

After 14 days of judicial custody, Arnab Goswami was granted interim bail of 50,000 in the suicide amendment case of 2018.

Arnab Goswami is a news anchor, managing director and editor in chief of Republic Media Network. He is well known for his unique style of journalism.

On November 4, Arnab was arrested from his Mumbai residence for his alleged role in the death of Anvay Naik, who was a designer. He and his mother took their life in 2018 and mentioned Goswami’s role for not paying back the dues of almost 8 lakhs. The case was closed by Raigad Police in April 2019 due to lack of evidence. But recently, Maharashtra Home Minister ordered for reinvestigation based on the complaint filed by Naik’s daughter. His arrest was defined as “attack on media’s free speech and expression” and “backstabbing democracy” by various personalities.

Many criticised Maharashtra Government and Mumbai Police for acting out without any prior permission from the court and manhandling Arnab and his family. Also, the police have filed an additional complaint against him for allegedly assaulting a female police officer when they went to his residence to arrest him.

Soon after his arrest, he filed a plea with Bombay HC which was refused. Later after 4 hours long of virtual. hearing with the Supreme Court, they granted interim bail to Arnab and two other accused. The Supreme Court also stated that the decision of not granting the bail by Bombay HC was wrong. They also expressed their concern over state governments targeting individuals based on ideology and differences of opinion and  the failure of the high courts to protect the fundamental personal liberty rights  of individuals.

“If constitutional courts don’t protect liberty, who will?” asked Justice Chandrachud.

The judge also voiced his concern over treating Arnab inhumanly because his style of journalism does not suit the state government.  Recently, Arnab had criticized Mumbai Police for poor investigation in SSR case. He also called out the ongoing  Maharashtra Government Shiv Sena in various instances.

Liberals say that they don’t like his style of witch reporting but he did not deserve jail time. Many also suggested that it has nothing to do with the sucide amendment case but rather personal grudges of the state government. While Senior Advocate Dushyant Dave pointed out on the speedy bail hearing from SC. Holding no personal grudges against Arnab, he said that there are thousands of people in jail for a long time waiting for their bail hearing.

While thanking his loyal supporters, Arnab said that he would be expanding his news network in every state and he also dared Uddhav Thackeray to not touch his Republic News Network.
